Under the Certifications tab on your Dashboard, you will find the Apply for Certification tab, there you can start your application for a new certificate.
All the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and if these fields are not completed, you will not be allowed to proceed to the next step.
If you accidentally close the page and you wish to return to the application form, go to the Certifications tab again, at the My Certifications tab you will find the Incomplete button near the application you intend to proceed with. Click on the incomplete button to reopen the application.
At any point in your application, you can click on the step number to revisit a previous step.
Please find below a step-by-step guide to successfully completing your certification application:
- Select the Certification scheme you are applying for
Choose your certification scheme by marking a specific certification. Before proceeding, please also review the criteria table shown at the end of the page.
- Provide the certification exam details
Please tick the first checkbox and confirm the certification that you are applying for.
Follow the steps below:
- Provide your exam number
- Provide the date you received the exam results
- Provide the name of the company that you completed the exam with
- Click on the Choose a File button to select and upload your Attestation of Course Completion
- Click on Save and Continue button
If the exam provider is not PECB (as can be the case with paper-based exams), please tick the Other Details checkbox and provide the exam details, and upload the Certificate obtained.
- Provide education work experience details
Please add information regarding your work experience. In the Resume section, click on the Choose File button and attach your CV. The Add Second Work Experience button is optional (adding additional experience is allowed).
If you are applying for a certificate for the first time, you will be asked to complete the Activity Sectors section where you can select a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 9 industries.
- Provide your reference contact details
Depending on the certification scheme you are applying for, you might be required to provide professional references.
- Declaration
Read through our Code of Ethics, Rules and Policies, and Certification Maintenance Policy to declare that you confirm and understand them. Note that declaring that you confirm that you understand the above-mentioned documents, is a mandatory step before proceeding further.
- Revision
Review the application details provided. Should you need to correct or add additional details, simply click the on step number you need to go back for revision.
- Certification payment
If you have attended the training with a PECB Reseller, you should have received a Coupon Code to waive the Certificate application fee.
To waive the application fee, type in the coupon code and click the Verify button for the system to apply the discount. Once the system has verified the code, click the Place your order button to submit the application.
After the submission, we will contact your referrals by email and ask them to fill out an online form to confirm your experience. Once all your references have responded, your application will be evaluated. This process can take 4 to 7 days if the references respond on time.
