- Download PECB X2Go client to connect to the Virtual Machine of Kali Linux
(Go to https://pecb.com/en/cleh and click Download)
- After the download is completed, double click the downloaded file (setup)
- Click I agree
- Select the recommended installation type and click Next
- Choose the installation location and click Next
- Choose a Start Menu folder and click \Install
- After the installation is completed, click Finish
- Once X2Go is installed, double-click the application icon
- Use credentials sent to you via email to log in
- Enter the virtual machine
To enter the lab click on the created session and use your credentials to log in
- Kali Linux opens
Once you log in, Kali Linux will open
PECB Certified Lead Ethical Hacking technical requirements
During the course of completing your Certified Lead Ethical Hacking training and certification exam, you will be using three different applications.
The applications that you will chronologically use are:
During the training course
- KATE – Access the CLEH course content assigned to you by the course organizer.
- PECB X2GO client –Connect to the CLEH course labs virtual machine (VM).
During the examination
- PECB Exams – Technical – Connect to the PECB remote invigilator that will accept you in the exam session.
- PECB X2GO client – Connect to the CLEH examination virtual machine (VM).
You can access KATE and PECB Exams – Technical using your PECB Account username and password. However, the VM you will use for the course labs will be different from the VM you will used to take the online exam. Therefore, two sets of usernames and passwords to use with X2GO client will be provided to you by the system during the process.
